Sonfest is a five day beach retreat open to rising high school freshmen thorough outgoing seniors, consisting of teaching sessions led by the attending parish groups and includes praise and worship music, small group time, daily beach activities, and plenty of sunshine! Highlights of the week include Spirit-filled Masses, Opportunities for Reconciliation, Talks based on the Teachings of the Church, Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and Time for Building Friendships. Every Parish that participates will take a leadership role by presenting a session, leading a prayer service or organizing a beach game.

Youth Ministers, please make note of the following dates:
1. January 30, 2012 (7pm – 9pm) - Information & Planning Meeting
Location: Holy Cross Catholic Church, 3773 Chamblee Tucker Road, Atlanta, GA 30341 - **NEW LOCATION**
**(If you are planning on bringing youth to SONFEST, there must be an adult representative of your group at this meeting)**
2. February 28, 2012 - ‘Registration Forms’ and non-refundable deposit of $100.00, per participant, is due in the Office of Formation & Discipleship
3. April 16, 2012 (7pm – 9pm) - Information & Planning Meeting
Location: Office of Formation & Discipleship, 2401 Lake Park Dr. SE, Smyrna, GA 30080

4. April 24, 2012 – Second payment is due
5. May 22, 2012 - ‘Participant and Housing Form’ due to Office of Formation & Discipleship, all payments are non-refundable after this date and parish is responsible for payment based on numbers as of today. A copy of all PERMISSION SLIPS and Codes of Conduct must be turned in at this time (YM should keep the originals; please submit copies).
6. May 22, 2012 – Final payment is due
